The City of Luxembourg (VdL) has announced the return of “Gare Grooves”, its series of free evening concerts set in the heart of the Luxembourg-Gare district.
The VDL has announced that from Thursday May 15 to Thursday August 28 2025, starting at 18:00, artists will perform a variety of genres such as jazz, rock, pop and funk on the square located in front of Luxembourg's central railway station.
The concerts will take place each week on the following Thursdays: 15 May; 22 May; 5 June; 12 June; 26 June; 10 July; 17 July; 24 July; 31 July; 14 August; 21 August; and 28 August.
The first concert, on Thursday 15 May 2025, will feature multi-instrumentalist group Sonido Profundo, who will perform their unique mix of Latin American music. This will be followed on Thursday 22 May 2025 by a performance from punk rock cover band My Freezer Hero.
The VdL will announce the artists for future dates as they become available, at garegrooves.vdl.lu.
