The Grand Ducal Police have reported that during the evening of Sunday 24 August 2025, a hit-and-run traffic incident occurred in Lieler, northern Luxembourg.
The incident happened at approximately 21:40 on the CR338, just before the entrance to Lieler.
According to initial information, a cyclist was travelling towards Lieler when a vehicle struck her from behind. The driver then fled the scene.
The police have appealed to the driver involved in the accident and any witnesses who may have relevant information to contact the Troisvierges police station by tel: 244-87-1000 or by email: police.troisvierges@police.etat.lu.
