On Sunday 31 August 2025, police reported a serious road accident that occurred at around 23:25 on Avenue John F. Kennedy in Luxembourg-Kirchberg, in which a pedestrian was hit by a tram.
According to initial information, the victim was seriously injured and taken to hospital after receiving initial treatment at the scene. Investigations have been launched to determine the circumstances of the accident.
