On Monday 1 September 2025, Grossfeld, developer of the Cloche d’Or district and a joint venture between Promobe and Nextensa, announced the opening of Luxembourg’s first B&B HOTELS, located in a newly completed building in the Cloche d’Or district.
The three-star superior hotel offers 150 rooms for both business and leisure guests. It is located in a mixed urban environment combining housing, shops, offices, medical infrastructure and green spaces, according to Grossfeld.
The building, designed by architect Moreno, extends over seven floors above ground and includes a basement level with parking and technical facilities. The ground floor, accessed via rue Gerhard Mercator, features a reception hall, bar/lounge area, breakfast room, meeting room and a large private terrace, the developer noted.
This project also marks the debut of B&B HOTELS in Luxembourg. Already present in seventeen countries with nearly 900 establishments and more than 80,000 rooms, is making its debut in Luxembourg. The building is subject to a 20-year fixed lease agreement between B&B HOTELS and Grossfeld.
Valerio Duchini, CEO of B&B HOTELS Western Europe, stated: “This new opening not only strengthens the European footprint of B&B HOTELS, but also reaffirms our mission to offer accessible and quality hospitality in strategic locations across Europe.”
