The Grand Ducal Police have reported they apprehended a suspected burglar in Luxembourg City on Tuesday 2 September 2025.
According to the initial report, during the early hours of Tuesday 2 September 2025, police received a report of a burglary at a premises on Rue Munster in Luxembourg-Grund.
A police patrol immediately attended the scene and apprehended the suspect inside the premises, with officers recovering a number of stolen items from him.
Further investigations indicated that the suspect might also have been involved in another burglary at a premises on Rue du Curé in Luxembourg-Ville.
Following instructions from the Public Prosecutor, officers arrested the suspect and brought him before an examining magistrate on the morning of Tuesday 2 September 2025. The magistrate issued a warrant for his detention.
