The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a shoplifting incident occurred in Luxembourg City centre on Saturday 6 September 2025.
According to the police, at around 17:15 they received a report of a theft from a shop in the city centre. Security staff had detained a person suspected of stealing goods with a total value in the four-digit range.
On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the suspect was arrested and brought before an investigating judge on Sunday 7 September 2025.
