The Grand Ducal Police have reported two individuals were arrested on Sunday 14 September 2025, after the recovery of a stolen mini-excavator in Hosingen.
According to the initial report, on Sunday morning, police in Wahlhausen received a report of a stolen mini-excavator, which they were able to locate using GPS. A police patrol found the suspected perpetrators shortly afterwards in Hosingen.
Investigations revealed that, in addition to the stolen mini-excavator, a second mini-excavator and a low-loader left in Wahlhausen had also been stolen.
The Public Prosecutor ordered the arrest of the two suspects and police presented them to the examining magistrate on the morning of Monday 15 September 2025.
