Suspect With Existing Arrest Warrant Detained After Theft in Luxembourg-Gare

The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a man was arrested on Wednesday 17 September 2025, after theft of a wallet in Luxembourg-Gare.

According to the initial report, on Wednesday afternoon the police were informed of the theft of a wallet on Boulevard Charles Marx. As part of a search, the suspect was apprehended by officers a short time later.

During the verification of his identity, it emerged that an arrest warrant had already been issued against him. 

Following a medical examination, he was transferred to Schrassig Prison (Centre Pénitentiaire de Luxembourg - CPL).
