The Grand Ducal Police have reported that two men were arrested on Thursday 18 September 2025, following a burglary in Heisdorf and a subsequent car chase.
According to the initial report, on Thursday the police were informed of a burglary in Heisdorf during which three perpetrators gained entry to a detached house and stole several pieces of jewellery.
A police patrol immediately attended the scene and was able to intercept the suspects who were in a black Peugeot 206. On seeing the police, the suspects continued driving which led to a pursuit through Walferdange to Eich. The chase ended at Place Dargent in Eich, where the vehicle crashed, allowing the police to apprehend the three suspects. A search of the vehicle uncovered stolen goods, which were seized by the officers.
On the orders of the public prosecutor, two of the three suspects were arrested and brought before an investigating judge on the morning of Friday 19 September 2025.
