Also on Tuesday afternoon, a police patrol observed an exchange between two individuals on Route de Luxembourg in Pétange which, according to initial information, raised suspicions of a possible drug transaction. Both men were checked. A small quantity of cannabis was found on one of them, while the second individual was found in possession of cash, a joint and a knuckle-duster. On the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, a house search was subsequently carried out at the latter’s residence. Officers discovered additional drugs, various drug paraphernalia, a blank-firing pistol and a machete. The items were seized and a report was drawn up.
