On Tuesday 17 February 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported that a man was arrested following a fight on a train at Kautenbach station on Sunday 15 February 2026.
According to initial information, on Sunday afternoon police were notified of an altercation between two individuals on a train at Kautenbach station, during which a glass door of the train was broken. A police patrol attended the scene and located one of the men, who behaved uncooperatively towards the officers.
Further investigations revealed that the suspect had already been flagged by foreign authorities. On the instructions of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, he was arrested and brought before an investigating judge on Monday 16 February 2026.
