The Grand Ducal Police have reported the execution of a national arrest warrant following an incident in Esch-Alzette.

On the morning of Sunday 1 March 2026, police were alerted to a dispute in an apartment after a man reportedly refused to leave a woman’s residence despite being asked to do so.

According to initial information, both individuals were located at the apartment by responding officers. During checks carried out at the scene, it emerged that a national arrest warrant had been issued against the man.

On the orders of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, he was subsequently brought before an investigating judge.
