The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a man was arrested in Differdange on Sunday 15 March 2026, following an instance of domestic violence involving a knife.
According to the initial information, a report was received by the police on Sunday afternoon of an incident in Differdange. A police patrol was immediately dispatched to the scene where, according to the police, the suspect had become physically aggressive towards his partner and had threatened her with a knife.
On the instructions of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the suspect was arrested and brought before an examining magistrate on the morning of Monday 16 March 2026.
