The Grand Ducal Police undertakes a controlled operation with the Customs Administration and the CFL at Luxembourg central station;

On Thursday 19 March 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported that on Saturday 14 March 2026 it undertook a controlled operation with the Customs Administration and the CFL, at Luxembourg central station in Luxembourg-Gare.
According to the police, the large-scale operation took place on Saturday between the hours of 04:30 and 09:30 at the main railway station, as well as on trains arriving at and departing from the station. Two dog handlers from the customs administration and the police also took part in the operation.
Several individuals were checked, six of whom were flagged, with one of those checked found to be staying unlawfully on Luxembourg territory.
Moreover, one individual was reported on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
