The Grand Ducal Police have reported several incidents in Luxembourg on Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 March 2026, including an arrest for public disturbance, cases of shoplifting and a drink-driving offence.

According to the police, on Monday, officers were alerted to a man causing a public disturbance at a tram stop in Luxembourg City. The individual, who was heavily intoxicated and unable to stand, was located by a patrol. As he posed a danger to himself and others, he was detained following a medical examination.

Later that day, a shoplifting incident was reported at a store in Hamilius in Luxembourg City, where a man attempted to steal several meat products but was caught by a security guard. The suspect was subsequently located by a police patrol and a report was filed. A second incident was reported in Luxembourg-Gasperich, where a person stole a bottle of perfume; the suspect was also located and a report was filed.

During the night of Monday to Tuesday, police were informed of an accident on Rue Flammang in Mondorf, where a car knocked down roadside posts. The driver was located shortly afterwards at her home address. As the alcohol test was positive, her driving licence was withdrawn and an accident report was filed.
