The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a serious accident involving an e-scooter occurred in Haller, in eastern Luxembourg, in the early hours of Thursday 3 April 2026.
Police were alerted to the incident at approximately 00:45. According to initial reports, two teenagers were riding an e-scooter from Haller towards Waldbillig when they lost control, causing one of them to fall off. He sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital after receiving initial treatment at the scene.
The e-scooter was confiscated by order of the Public Prosecutor's Office. Further investigation revealed that its top speed significantly exceeded the legal limit. A report was filed.
