The Grand Ducal Police have reported the arrest of a suspected drug dealer following a police check in Esch-sur-Alzetteon Monday 6 April 2026.
According to initial information, a police patrol noticed a man on Rue Barbourg, who behaved suspiciously upon seeing the officers and was walking in the middle of the street. He was subsequently subjected to a check. During a search, several drugs, cash, a knife and a mobile phone were found and seized.
Further investigations indicated that the individual could be involved in drug dealing. The public prosecutor’s office ordered a search of the suspect’s home, which yielded results.
On the orders of the public prosecutor’s office, the individual concerned was arrested and brought before an investigating judge.
