The Grand Ducal Police has reported several burglaries and an attempted burglary taking place on Tuesday 5 and Wednesday 6 May 2026 in Luxembourg.
One incident took place on Tuesday evening at a shop in Niederanven. According to initial information, several unknown perpetrators gained access through the glass entrance door and stole construction equipment and cash. A search operation was launched immediately but was unsuccessful.
Another incident occurred on Wednesday around 05:00 at a single-family house in Rue des Carrières in Neudorf. According to initial information, a terrace window was smashed. The suspect was disturbed by the resident and fled the scene.
In both cases, investigations have been launched.
