On Wednesday 24 June 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported the arrest of two suspects following a stabbing incident which occurred on the Montée de Clausen on the morning of Tuesday 23 June.
According to the police, they were informed at approximately 05:30 on Tuesday 23 June of a violent altercation on the Montée de Clausen in Luxembourg-Ville.
At the scene, a man was found with a deep stab wound to his back. Officers provided emergency first aid until the arrival of emergency services. Evidence was secured at the scene and further investigations were initiated, during which two suspects were identified.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office ordered the arrest of the two men, who were brought before the investigating judge on Tuesday afternoon.
