On Friday 30 October 2026, the Grand Ducal Police reported that it carried out a large-scale traffic check in Foetz.
According to the police, the checks took place between 11:30 and 12:30 on Rue du Brill.
A total of 30 traffic offences were identified. Among those caught:
⁃ 27 drivers received on-the-spot fines for using a mobile phone while driving (€250 and four points)
⁃ Three other drivers received fines for having missing or invalid vehicle documents
Official reports were drawn up for the offences.
A total of twelve police officers took part in the traffic operation.
