On Thursday 29 October 2026, Luxembourg’s Ministry of State confirmed that the Tripartite Monitoring Committee has extended the provisions secured under the tripartite agreement “Resilienzpak 2026” until February 2027.
According to the ministry, the Tripartite Monitoring Committee, comprising the Government, the Trade Union Confederation, the General Confederation of the Public Service, the Luxembourg Employers’ Association and the Chamber of Agriculture, met on Tuesday 20 and Thursday 29 October.
Following the latter meeting, an Addendum to the Tripartite Agreement was signed, extending several key measures implemented to support purchasing power and contain inflation, including subsidies on fuel prices, energy costs and an increase to the minimum wage, which were originally agreed on Monday 8 June 2026.
The ministry confirmed that the government and its social partners have committed to convening the Monitoring Committee again no later than February 2027, with the possibility of an early meeting in the event of economic or social deterioration.
A full list of the measures extended by this new agreement can be found here.
