On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October 2025, basketball teams across Luxembourg competed in Game Day 5 of the regular season of the Women’s and Men’s Enovos Leagues, with the league leaders in both competitions extending their unbeaten runs.
Women’s League: Home Wins and a Fourth Defeat for the Bottom Team
Sparta Bertrange became the first team this season to score 100 points in a single game, achieving the milestone in their home match against Basket Esch. The hosts dominated throughout, winning all four quarters, with five players scoring in double figures. Jordan Alexis King led the team with 24 points and seven rebounds as Sparta secured a 100-61 victory.
T71 Dudelange continued to top the standings and remain unbeaten after a decisive home win over bottom-placed Musel Pikes. Leading 78-29 before the final quarter, the hosts eased off slightly but still celebrated a convincing 91-46 result. Shalonda Renae Winton recorded a double-double with 27 points and thirteen rebounds, the best individual performance of Game Day 5.
Amicale Steinsel were the only team not in action over the weekend.

Men’s League: Sparta Maintain Perfect Record as Etzella and T71 Keep Pace
In the men’s league, Sparta Bertrange continued their flawless start to the season. Under head coach Karl Abou Khalil, Sparta defeated Basket Esch at home without dropping a single quarter. Jarvis Terrill Williams once again led both his team and the game in scoring, recording 24 points and eight assists in an 86-62 victory.
Just one point behind the leaders, Etzella Ettelbruck and T71 Dudelange both kept their chase alive with home victories. Current champions Etzella delivered a commanding 121-62 win over newcomers Kordall Steelers. Forward Nicholas Thomas Davis put on an outstanding display, converting all twelve of his two-point attempts (12/12) and finishing with 27 points and twelve rebounds - a double-double and the game’s top individual tally.
T71 Dudelange, last season’s finalists, also triumphed at home against Musel Pikes. After losing the opening quarter, Christophe Ney’s team dominated the remainder of the game to secure an 83-68 win. Forward Tom Schumacher, also a member of Luxembourg’s national team, delivered a standout performance with 35 points and fifteen rebounds.
