On Saturday, 8 November 2025, Game Day 8 of the Men’s Basketball Enovos League saw the league leaders extend their unbeaten run, while the current Luxembourg Cup holders suffered a one-point defeat to the newly promoted team.
Sparta Bertrange remain top of the table, maintaining their perfect record this season. In Stadtbredimus, Karl Abou Khalil’s team defeated Musel Pikes 102-52, winning all four quarters. Two Sparta players scored 20 points each - national team guard Max Logelin and American forward Jarvis Terrill Williams.
Three teams sit just behind Bertrange, each with six wins and two defeats. They also recorded victories over the weekend: current champions Etzella Ettelbruck beat Amicale Steinsel 85-71 away, last season’s finalists T71 Dudelange defeated Mambra Mamer 94-84 at home, while Arantia Larochette overcame newly promoted Racing Luxembourg 105-83 on the road.
Elsewhere, league newcomers Kordall Steelers handed Basket Esch their fourth defeat of the season in a dramatic 100-99 finish. The current Coupe du Luxembourg holders had overturned a seven-point deficit in the final minutes and briefly led 99-98 thanks to guard Dino Ceman’s late basket, but could not hold on. Two accurate free throws from the foul line by Kordall forward Robertas Jonaitis, who finished with a game-high 32 points, sealed the win for the hosts.
