On Sunday 23 November 2025, Sparta Bertrange hosted Amicale Steinsel in a rescheduled Women’s Enovos League game at the Centre Sportif “Atert” in Bertrange, with both teams currently positioned in the top three of the standings.
Before the game, Sparta held a one-point advantage in the standings with four wins and one loss, whilst Amicale had three victories from five games.
The visitors opened the game with an 8-0 run, briefly losing that lead midway through the first quarter but still closing the period three points ahead. In the second quarter, Paul Missavage’s team extended their advantage to enter halftime up 45-35. Three Amicale players reached double figures before the break: American forward A'lexus Shaquann Harrison (13 points), American guard Desiree Ramos (10) and Luxembourg national team forward Mandy Geniets (11).
In the third quarter, Sparta cut the deficit to a single point (58-59), with American forward Naomi Davenport driving the comeback and reaching 25 points before the final period.
However, the fourth quarter once again belonged to Amicale, who closed out a 90-78 road win. The visitors hit seventeen three-pointers and had five players in double figures. Desiree Ramos led all scorers with 21 points, while three teammates finished just behind her: Mandy Geniets (19), Julie Mangen (18) and A’lexus Harrison (18).
This game marked the end of Round 1 of the Women’s Enovos League, with all teams having now met once. T71 Dudelange sit at the top of the standings with twelve points, whilst Sparta and Amicale are tied in second place on ten points each.
