On Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 January 2026, action resumed in the Enovos Basketball Leagues, with men’s Game Day 14 and the completion of women’s Game Day 13, both marked by victories for the league leaders.

Women’s League: T71 Unbeaten as Sparta Win Thriller

In the women’s championship, league leaders T71 Dudelange extended their unbeaten run with a 95-65 home win over Amicale Steinsel. The hosts played without one of their key players, Lauren Van Kleunen, but Shalonda Winton stepped up with 25 points and thirteen rebounds. Despite the defeat, Amicale guard Desiree Ramos finished as the game’s top scorer with 27 points. Dudelange now boast a perfect 12-0 record, while Steinsel stand at five wins and six losses.

Closest challengers Sparta Bertrange were pushed to overtime before securing an 81-79 home victory against Musel Pikes. Bertrange were also missing a key player, Jordan King, and trailed by twelve points heading into the final quarter. Mike Feyder’s team mounted a comeback and led 73-70 with 43 seconds remaining, before Anne Mreches forced overtime with a three-pointer. In the extra period, Sparta proved more accurate, with Nicole Torresani scoring four points and Jenna Wolf and Adryana Michelle Quezada adding two each. The latter led all scorers with 31 points and collected twelve rebounds. Bertrange now hold an 8-3 record, while Musel remain at 2-9.

Men’s League: Etzella Lead, Sparta and Arantia Keep Pressure

In the men’s league, current champions Etzella Ettelbruck maintained their position at the top of the standings with a 94-69 away win over AB Contern. Philippe Gutenkauf scored 24 points for the visitors, while Adrian Jermaine Delph recorded a double-double with 22 points and twelve rebounds. Contern’s Landon Andrew Lowder finished as the game’s top scorer with 26 points. Ettelbruck’s record now stands at twelve wins and two losses.

Sparta Bertrange also claimed their twelfth victory of the season, defeating Mambra Mamer 90-83 away from home. Max Logelin delivered a standout performance with 41 points as Karl Abou Khalil’s team won three of the four quarters to build a thirteen-point cushion ahead of the final period. Although Mamer closed the gap late on, they were unable to overturn the deficit.

Just one point behind the leaders, Arantia Larochette secured an emphatic 95-74 away victory over current Luxembourg Cup holders Basket Esch. Kevon Lamar Godwin led the scoring with 24 points, including six successful three-pointers from eight attempts. Larochette now have eleven wins and three defeats, while Esch sit fourth with an 8-6 record, level on points with T71 Dudelange.
