On Tuesday 25 November 2025, the Luxembourg Movement for Quality and Excellence (MLQE) held its 2025 Luxembourg Quality and Excellence Awards Ceremony in the conference hall of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, in front of nearly 300 guests.
These awards (the “Prix Luxembourgeois de la Qualité et de l’Excellence” or PLQE) aim to highlight the achievements of companies and organisations in the Grand Duchy engaged in a sustainable approach to quality, innovation and excellence.
According to the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, the evening began with speeches by Carlo Thelen, Director General of the Chamber of Commerce, who recalled the role of the MLQE in developing a “culture of excellence” in Luxembourg, followed by Gilles Scholtus, First Government Adviser at the Ministry of the Economy, who commended the commitment of the candidate organisations and congratulated the award winners.
In her first official speech as the new President of the MLQE, Florence Rioda referred to the founding values of the movement: commitment, listening, self-reflection and continuous improvement.
The evening’s keynote address, delivered by the company Vol(t)age on the theme “Let’s be Vol(t)age, the courage to be human”, introduced the audience to the concept of Wardrobe Therapy, combining elements of elegance, psychology and self-confidence.
