On Monday 14 July 2025, Luxembourg non-profit organisation SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde announced that it received a donation of €15,000 from Husky Technologies for its development projects in Benin.

According to SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde, the money was raised through the participation of Husky Technology employees in both the DKV-Urban Trail and the ING Night Marathon Luxembourg. On Monday 7 July 2025, the management and employees of Husky Technologies welcomed representatives of the non-profit organisation to their premises to hand over the cheque for €15,000, raised through these two events.

At the presentation, Director of SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde, Sophie Glesener, and Partnerships Manager Anne Schweizer, thanked the Husky Technologies teams for their “loyalty and solidarity with the world’s most vulnerable children”, which marked a total of €281,633 raised in support of the association, since 2007.

Site Leader of Husky Luxembourg, Jean-Christophe Witz, stated: “This commitment to SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde is a project that truly brings our teams together. It is a source of pride for Husky to see our colleagues rally with such energy and solidarity, year after year, for such an essential cause as the protection of children.”

SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde have confirmed that this year’s funds will contribute to financing two Community Support Programmes for Child Protection and Child Protection Systems (PACOPE-SPE) supported by the NGO in Abomey-Calavi and Parakou, Benin, as part of its 2022–2026 cooperation agreement with Luxembourg’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MAEE). These programmes aim to improve child protection, access to basic social services and the employability of young people. In 2024, they directly benefited 1,346 children (including 644 girls), 299 families and 237 young people entering the workforce.
