On Friday 18 July 2025, Luxembourg-based non-profit Stëmm vun der Strooss reported that it recently received a €2,500 donation for its Kanner Stëmm project from Mierscher Musek asbl during a visit to the post-therapeutic centre in Schoenfels on Wednesday 2 July 2025.
The Director of Stëmm vun der Strooss, Alexandra Oxacelay, used the reception as an opportunity to present the various services offered by the association to members of Mierscher Musek.
According to the non-profit organisation, Alexandra Oxacelay particularly highlighted the work of the Kanner Stëmm service, which supports families and children living in precarious conditions. The €2,500 donation will contribute to covering medical expenses for these beneficiaries.
Mierscher Musek asbl raised the sum through a gala concert held on 3 May 2025 at the Mierscher Theater. A collection in support of Kanner Stëmm took place during the event, which was attended by a representative of the association.
The organisation noted that the donation would help cover medical costs for vulnerable families and described it as “a concrete gesture of solidarity”.
