On Tuesday 23 September, Elisabeth Senior, a long-standing social organisation, and Stëftung Hëllef Doheem (SHD) signed a partnership agreement to improve residential care access for elderly people and strengthen coordination within the care and support network.
The agreement measures include: strengthening coordination and communication between the two associations; streamlining the care process and ensuring a smooth flow of information between elderly people, their relatives and the teams of both organisations; speeding up access to temporary respite beds and permanent placements; and promoting the services of the care and support network to families.
Based on their shared values and common collaboration within the Association of Christian-inspired care and support providers (PASC), the two partners intend to provide a concrete response to the growing needs of elderly people and their relatives.
