On Monday 29 September 2025, local non-profit organisation Stëmm vun der Strooss reported that, as part of a “Citizen Day” in Luxembourg organised by Indosuez Wealth Management, the wealth management subsidiary of the Crédit Agricole Group, the company’s employees came together to support families in precarious situations at the Stëmm vun der Strooss social restaurant in Ettelbruck.
According to the NGO, under the coordination of site manager Francesco Settanni, a solidarity market was organised ahead of the new school year, during which free school supplies were distributed to support children and their parents during this often costly period. The Ettelbruck team expressed gratitude to the many donors who contributed materials.
The NGO added that the volunteering employees also shared a meal on-site in what it described as a warm and supportive atmosphere. This initiative highlighted both Indosuez’s commitment to solidarity projects for vulnerable people and the importance of partnerships between companies and associations in raising awareness of social causes while providing tangible support to beneficiaries.
Stëmm vun der Strooss runs three social restaurants in Hollerich, Esch-sur-Alzette and Ettelbruck. Disadvantaged people can enjoy a balanced meal at an affordable price, with meals costing €0.50 and drinks €0.25. The meals are prepared by a team of ten people on vocational rehabilitation schemes, supervised by qualified educators and a restaurant owner. On average, around 720 meals are served each day.
