On Wednesday 19 November 2025, Stëmm vun der Strooss, a Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation which supports people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable members of society, reported that it recently received a van donated by POST Luxembourg.

The donation to the social restaurant in Ettelbruck helps strengthen the logistics of Stëmm vun der Strooss. The vehicle now handles the transport of lunches prepared by the chefs of the Post-Therapy Centre in Schoenfels and those from the "Caddy" professional reintegration workshop in Sanem.

Nearly 150 people in precarious situations benefit daily from hot meals at the social restaurant, located at 47 Rue Prince Henri, L-9047 Ettelbruck.

The handover of the keys took place in Ettelbruck, in the presence of representatives from POST Luxembourg, who visited the premises before sharing a lunch with the team and beneficiaries.

This initiative is part of a long-term partnership. In 2022, POST had already donated a van for use by the Immo-Stëmm service. In 2024, the company provided two additional vehicles to Stëmm vun der Strooss. With locations across the country, the non-profit organisation relies on a reliable fleet to carry out its missions of collecting and redistributing food free of charge, transporting goods and deliveries between sites, distributing the Stëmm magazine, and performing repairs and relocations for the housing managed by Immo-Stëmm.

"This donation improves our logistics chain and ensures the distribution of meals in Ettelbruck. Our needs are increasing, and every operational vehicle has a direct impact on the service we provide to people," said Alexandra Oxacelay, Director of Stëmm vun der Strooss.

Beyond in-kind donations, POST Luxembourg supports Stëmm vun der Strooss' themed events each year through gift vouchers provided by its employees, as well as through occasional monetary donations.
