On Tuesday 2 December 2025, the Fondation Lëtzebuerger Blannevereenegung (FLB) launched its "Colors of Blindness" fundraising campaign aimed at supporting inclusion through sport.

The FLB is launching its 2025 "Quinzaine du Don" (donation fortnight), themed "Colors of Blindness". This solidarity campaign aims to fund adapted sports activities for blind and visually impaired people in Luxembourg.

Thanks to donations, the FLB can support visually impaired athletes in their chosen sport, enabling them to:

  • acquire adapted sports equipment;
  • benefit from specialised coaching and regular training;
  • participate in competitions, including at the international level.

"You see! Together, we can achieve so much more than you can imagine." With this message, the "Colors of Blindness" campaign invites everyone to see the abilities of blind and visually impaired people in a new light.

The FLB noted that Luxembourg has many visually impaired and blind athletes who are passionately involved in various disciplines and whose determination is inspiring. However, their sporting activities require specific equipment and support.

As such, the FLB is calling on the public to get involved during this fundraising campaign. Donations can be made via bank transfer: BCEE LULL LU10 0019 1000 6994 9000 with the reference: "Don Xmas 2025" or "COB 2025", or via Payconiq.
