The Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation Stëmm vun der Strooss, which supports people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable individuals, has issued a statement warning the public about fraudulent door-to-door fundraising carried out in its name.

Stëmm vun der Strooss stressed that it has never authorised employees, volunteers or any other person to conduct door-to-door fundraising on its behalf.

Reports in recent days have indicated that individuals have been approaching residents at their homes while claiming to represent Stëmm vun der Strooss. The non-profit emphasised that these actions are fraudulent and do not originate from the organisation.

Stëmm vun der Strooss urged the public to remain vigilant to prevent abuse and protect the organisation's reputation; if someone comes to their door asking for a donation for Stëmm vun der Strooss, they should not give them anything and contact the police immediately.
