Credit: Stëmm vun der Strooss
On Friday 30 January 2026, Stëmm vun der Strooss, a Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation which supports people experiencing homelessness and vulnerable members of society, reported that it recently received a donation from the organisers of the 2025 "Sylvesterlaf" (New Year's Eve run) in Dudelange.
Organised by Natalie Conterno (fitbyNATURE) and Claude Tritz (De klengen Stemmverein), the "Sylvesterlaf" took place on 31 December 2025 under the banner of solidarity and collective commitment.
Instead of the usual registration fees, participants were invited to make a donation in support of Stëmm vun der Strooss. This initiative allowed runners to combine their sporting commitment with solidarity and to make a concrete contribution to supporting disadvantaged people in Luxembourg. The event raised a total of €855.
The official donation handover took place on Thursday 22 January 2026 at the headquarters of Stëmm vun der Strooss in Luxembourg-Hollerich, in the presence of Director Alexandra Oxacelay, who also gave the donors a tour of the premises and presented the organisation's work.
Stëmm vun der Strooss thanked the organisers and participants for their support and solidarity.
