Stëmm vun der Strooss, a Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation supporting people experiencing homelessness and other vulnerable members of society, reported that it recently received a €3,533.20 donation from Auchan.

The official handover took place on Wednesday 11 February 2026 during a ceremony held at Auchan Kirchberg. Marie Baerthele, Angélique Simon, Julie Marchand, Hélène Ranger and Mathias Santerre represented Auchan, joining Alexandra Oxacelay, Director of Stëmm vun der Strooss.

Organisers raised the funds through a gift-wrapping stand at Auchan over a three-week period in December 2025. A total of 80 volunteers from partner companies, including secondary school students from the International School of Luxembourg (ISL) and Stëmm vun der Strooss’ internal volunteer network, wrapped customers’ presents throughout the festive season.

Corporate volunteers also took part, representing State Street, US Bank, POST Luxembourg, Fidelity International, Lombard Odier, Ogier, BNY, Sodexo, A&O Shearman, Deloitte, Coca-Cola and Schroders.

Stëmm vun der Strooss added that that it is preparing further joint initiatives with Auchan, aimed at at making a meaningful difference in the lives of disadvantaged individuals.

Alexandra Oxacelay emphasised: “This initiative shows how important sustainable partnerships between companies and social organisations are in providing concrete help.”
