Europa Donna Luxembourg, a non-profit organisation actively involved in the fight against breast cancer, has reported that it recently received a €1,500 donation from Senioren-Gemeng Suessem asbl.
According to the organisation, the funds were raised throughout the year through various activities organised by the association, including weekly “Kaffiskränzchen” coffee gatherings and the operation of a bar during local events. Beyond their social aspect, these activities also aimed to raise awareness and help combat social isolation among elderly residents in the municipality of Sanem.
The donation will support programmes developed by Europa Donna Luxembourg for people affected by breast cancer. The initiative also received support from the Sanem municipal administration.
Europa Donna Luxembourg thanked the members of Senioren-Gemeng Suessem asbl for what it described as their “remarkable spirit of solidarity” and commitment to supporting the association’s work.
