CSFN Voluntary Kirchberg Cleanup collects 244.1 kg of waste and 11,000 cigarette butts;

On Sunday 20 September 2026, on the occasion of World Clean Up Day, non-profit organisation Clean Something for Nothing (CSFN) welcomed around 100 participants to an environmental “Cleanup” session in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
The cleanup, run in with the collaboration of the EU Climate Pact Ambassadors Luxembourg, European Parliament Liaison Office, Sembeza Africa, Europe Direct Luxembourg-Ville, Kehsia, L'association Syrienne au Luxembourg Asbl and Young Life LU welcomed MEP Martine Kemp as a special guest and saw the participants collect 244.1 kg of waste and 11,000 cigarette butts.
According to CSFN, the same event in 2025 saw 50 participants collected 57.5 kg of waste in the same location.
