United Instruments of Lucilin has announced that "Musique + Rencontres", the third event of the "Musique Plus" residency, will take place at the Valentiny Foundation in Remerschen on Sunday 15 June 2025.

Students from the Conservatoire de Musique de la Ville de Luxembourg, graphic designer Océane Müller, composers Roby Steinmetzer and Patrick Muller, alongside other composers from Luxembourg, will come together on this occasion to enrich the local scene and open avenues for collective creation.

Programme

11:00: Créations de Lux (concert) - discover the richness and diversity of Luxembourg's musical creation through a selection of works by local composers, including a world premiere by Roby Steinmetzer, in partnership with the Luxembourg federation of authors and composers, FLAC.

15:00: Sculptures (performance) - sounds, forms, images. The contemporary music performance workshop of the Luxembourg City Conservatory will present its second project: a sculptural sound creation.

16:30: Horizon Brisé (installation) - Océane Müller and Patrick Muller's work evokes a rupture in the continuity of expectations. The title (translated to "broken horizon") suggests an altered vision of the natural cycle of the seasons, where each stage is deconstructed to reveal an unexpected, fragmented and reinterpreted essence. The horizon, often a symbol of constancy and stability, becomes a space where order is disrupted.

A day ticket for Musique + Rencontres costs €20. Further details, including registration, are available at https://www.valentiny-foundation.com/events/musique-rencontres-residence-lucilin-2025

The United Instruments of Lucilin ensemble announced two other upcoming events: "Musique + Équilibre" on Sunday 29 June 2025 (details here) and "Musique + Perceptions" on Sunday 13 July 2025 (details here), both taking place at the Valentiny Foundation.
