The next edition of the English-language Luxembourg Comedy Showcase, hosted by Lux Comedy and Joe Eagan Comedy Productions, will take place on Thursday 20 November at Le Croque Bedaine in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg (139 Avenue du Bois) at 20:00.
The event will be an English-language feature stand-up comedy with international performers in a small, intimate setting.
British comedian Stella Graham will headline the show. The organisers explained that she has extensive international touring experience and has performed at festivals in Edinburgh, Brighton, Leicester and Adelaide, as well as at venues such as the Comedy Store in Los Angeles. She is also known for her online comedy series of Angry Workouts and video podcast “Stell Me About It”.
The supporting acts for this edition will be Joana Costa from Portugal, Caspar Rundegren from Sweden and Dan Belkin from Canada. The evening will be hosted by MC Jerry T from Turkey.
According to the organisers, Stella Graham is “shameless, charmingly aggressive, unladylike and the funniest half-Sri Lankan living in the United Kingdom.” She is known for her sharp delivery, engaging style and strong audience connection. She has taken several hour-long shows to the Edinburgh Fringe, Brighton Fringe and Leicester Comedy Festivals. They also noted that her material has been praised by international reviewers for its originality, confidence and strong comedic timing.
Tickets cost €27 online or €35 (cash) at the door. Only 40 seats are available.
