The University of Luxembourg (Uni.lu) has announced that the 2025 CNA International Symposium exploring the impact of The Family of Man exhibition, will take place on Saturday 24 May 2025 at Clervaux Castle, from10:30 until 16:30.

Organised by the Centre National de l’Audiovisuel (CNA), the Trier Center for American Studies (TCAS) and the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH), the event will explore the historical, artistic and cultural impact of the exhibition. It  will feature lectures and discussions from international experts, including keynote speaker Shamoon Zamir. It is expected to highlight  the significance of The Family of Man, as well as  analysing its influence on visual culture and photographic storytelling, while reflecting on its lasting legacy over the past 70 years.
