Film Fund Luxembourg has announced that the first edition of Fast Forward Luxembourg, a fair dedicated to discovering audiovisual professions and behind-the-scenes activities, will take place on Friday 4 December 2026 at Forum Geesseknäppchen.
Aimed primarily at young people aged sixteen and over and young professionals, the event will offer an opportunity to explore the film, animation, video game and immersive technology sectors. According to the organisers, Fast Forward Luxembourg will allow participants to discover this ecosystem in an accelerated format, bringing together the main stakeholders, organisations and initiatives shaping the future of the audiovisual sector in Luxembourg in one place on a single day.
The programme will include information stands, practical workshops, conferences and a Mentoring Village, where participants will be able to exchange ideas with experienced professionals and learn about the various career paths available in the sector.
Through this initiative, Film Fund Luxembourg aims to provide young talent with a better understanding of the creative and professional ecosystem behind Luxembourg's internationally recognised audiovisual productions.
