The Australia New Zealand Chamber of Commerce Luxembourg (ANZCCL) has announced the next Australia-Luxembourg Green Finance Dialogue, bringing together experts from Europe and Australia to discuss developments in sustainable finance, natural capital and cross-border investment.

The online webinar will take place on Thursday 9 July 2026 from 09:00 to 10:30 via Microsoft Teams and is open to both ANZCCL members and the wider public.

According to ANZCCL, the event forms part of its ongoing initiative to strengthen connections between Australian and European sustainable finance communities and will feature presentations from representatives of financial institutions, advisory firms and public sector organisations.

Among the scheduled speakers are Aldo Romani, Head of Sustainable Finance at the European Investment Bank, who will discuss synergies between the Green Bond Principles and the European Green Bond Standard, as well as Elodie van de Woestyne and Fang Zhang from the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE), who will present an overview of Luxembourg's sustainable finance market and opportunities for Australian issuers.

Other speakers include Linda Romanovska of Melomys Advisory, who will address EU-Australia sustainable finance taxonomy alignment, and David Burgos of TMF Group together with Marcell Koves of Deloitte, who will examine Luxembourg fund structures and cross-border tax considerations for natural capital investment.

The programme will also feature Luke Bayley from South Coast NRM and Richard McKenzie of WA Treasury Corporation, who will provide insights into natural capital initiatives and green bond developments in Western Australia.

The webinar will conclude with an open discussion and question-and-answer session, offering participants the opportunity to engage with the speakers and share their perspectives.

Participation is free of charge, although advance registration is required.
