The Philharmonie Luxembourg is hosting a new edition of the "rainy days" music festival from Tuesday 18 to Sunday 23 November 2025.
This year's festival invites the public to "a sensory exploration of the human body and the sonic body", in line with the central theme: "Bodies".
The organisers noted: "While contemporary music is sometimes perceived as abstract or cerebral, rainy days 2025 chooses to embody it - literally. The body becomes a prism, an instrument and a space of resonance, revealing the profoundly physical dimension of sound creation. Each performance, concert or installation questions the presence of the body in music. Here, music is not simply heard; it is felt, experienced."
Luxembourgish composer Catherine Kontz, artistic director of the festival, asked: "The question of the sonic body has been the central theme of this programme. How does music embody itself? How does music enter and leave our bodies? How do our bodies express themselves through music?"
The programme features more than 60 events spread over six days and grouped into different themes: the body in movement (music, dance and sport); the voice; a blend of senses (body painting, multimedia experiences, etc.); body and mind; fully immersed (interacting with musicians); bodies - family edition (especially for amilies with children).
The rainy days 2025 festival will take place at various venues in Luxembourg City.
