Juror 8, played by Vicky Kreips, represents the voice of Sophie. She and Juror 1, played by Jim Sheridan, interrogate the case to find fact from fiction. They are out after the truth, no matter where that leads. Fiction to question reality. The film gives the victim back a voice that was abruptly interrupted and helping those grieving find closure.
