On Monday 5 January 2026, the LCGB and OGBL trade unions announced the signing of a new collective labour agreement with global transport and logistics company Kuehne+Nagel.

According to the unions, the collective agreement was signed jointly with company management and will run for a period of three years, from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2027. The agreement applies to around 650 employees of Kuehne+Nagel and retains all the benefits of the previous collective agreement.

The new collective agreement also introduces several improvements aimed at strengthening employee recognition, including:

  • an increase in additional leave days based on length of service within the company;
  • an enhancement of the seniority bonus;
  • a commitment by management to prioritise the recruitment of temporary agency workers already employed by the company when permanent or fixed-term positions become available.

Following negotiations conducted in the spirit of social dialogue, the LCGB and the OGBL said they welcome the agreement reached, which recognises the commitment and engagement of employees.

In Luxembourg, Kuehne+Nagel operates logistics centres dedicated to transport, storage and the processing of online orders for international clients.
