On Monday 15 September 2025, the Luxembourg Bankers' Association (ABBL) announced that Sandrine Roux had succeeded Camille Seillès as a member of the management board and general secretary of the association.
Sandrine Roux’s appointment to the management board sees her join Ananda Kautz, member of the management board in charge of innovation, payments and sustainability, and Jerry Grbic, CEO of the ABBL.
According to the ABBL, as Secretary General, Sandrine Roux will oversee the General Secretariat, Finance and General Services, while continuing to lead an expanded Regulatory Division. On the regulatory side, she will benefit from the support and expertise of the teams already in place led by Jonathan Hug, Head of Legal, Tax and Compliance, and Marilyn Rinck, currently Senior Advisor and expert on investor protection and financial markets, who has been promoted to Head of Banking Regulation, Financial Markets and ESG.
The ABBL said that with more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry across multiple fields, Sandrine Roux brings an in-depth understanding of the challenges facing the financial sector and will play a pivotal role in strengthening the ABBL’s contribution to the development of the Luxembourg financial centre, reinforcing dialogue with members and driving the Association’s strategic advocacy priorities.
The ABBL noted that Sandrine Roux will represent the ABBL at the European Banking Federation (EBF) and will serve as a member of the CSSF Advisory Committee on Prudential Regulation, succeeding Camille Seillès in these functions.
Jerry Grbic stated: “I warmly thank Camille Seillès, who has announced his departure to pursue new career opportunities. Camille has made an outstanding contribution to ABBL through his technical expertise, strategic insight and unwavering commitment. He has played a key role in the transformation of the Luxembourg banking centre. We wish him every success and personal fulfilment in his next endeavours.”
