The Grand Ducal Police has reported the arrest of a suspect following a violent robbery in Luxembourg-Ville on the morning of Friday 4 July 2026.
The incident occurred in a car park on Rives de Clausen. According to the police, the suspect sprayed the victim with pepper spray before stealing their mobile phone and a small amount of cash.
A police patrol responded to the incident, spotted the suspect and immediately gave chase, while officers apprehended the man a short time later.
On the instructions of the Public Prosecutor's Office, police arrested the suspect and brought him before an investigating judge.
