On Monday 26 January 2026, the Luxembourg Ministry of Health and Social Security reported that recent issues with certain eSanté services and LuxTrust authorisation were caused by an internal technical malfunction.

According to the ministry, the incident involved no malicious intent and only access to eSanté services was affected.

Access to the Shared Care Record, the electronic vaccination record and the PID is again available when authenticating with LuxTrust Mobile or Scan products.
