Luxembourg's Public Transport Administration announced that adjustments to the RGTR bus network will take effect from Sunday 10 May 2026, affecting the timetables and routes of 74 bus lines.

According to the administration, these changes aim to better meet passenger needs while improving the overall quality of service.

Among the main updates, services to the Kirchberg plateau will be reinforced in order to improve accessibility to business areas and workplaces. The following changes will apply:

  • 503: Luxembourg, Kirchberg – Thionville (F) → introduction of new Saturday services;
  • 508: Luxembourg, Gare Rocade – Ottange (F);
  • 811: Luxembourg, Kirchberg – Steinfort → introduction of earlier morning departures.

These adjustments are intended to facilitate daily travel for employees and cross-border workers.

The administration also noted timetable adjustments on the following lines to improve connections between buses and trains at Leudelange and Ettelbruck stations:

  • 190: Ettelbruck – Diekirch – Echternach;
  • 655: Bertrange – Leudelange – Alzingen.

These changes aim to reduce waiting times and improve passenger comfort during transfers.

In response to increasing demand, additional services and/or larger vehicles will be introduced during peak hours on the following lines:

  • 147: Wiltz – Nocher – Goebelsmuehle;
  • 148: Wiltz – Bavigne;
  • 241: Diekirch – Medernach – Freckeisen;
  • 424: Luxembourg, Gare – Hassel – Waldbredimus;
  • 750: Belvaux/Belval – Dippach – Steinfort;
  • 632: Bettembourg – Leudelange Z.I.;
  • 921: Luxembourg, Centre – Keispelt – Mersch;
  • 933: Mersch – Saeul – Oberpallen.

In addition, the bus station at the Ettelbruck mobility hub will be reorganised as part of the next phase of works, with new platforms introduced to improve orientation and passenger flows.
