Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced a decrease in diesel and heating oil prices.
As of Tuesday 12 August 2025, diesel costs €1.409 per litre (including VAT), a drop of 1.4 cents, while heating oil (10 ppm S (≥ 1 500 l)) prices fell by 1.6 cents to €0.850 per litre.
The price per litre of diesel for industrial/commercial use now stands at €0.966 while that of diesel for agricultural/horticultural use, etc. stands at €0.827 - both registered a price drop of 1.5 cents.
Prices for other fuels, including petrol, LPG and propane, remain unchanged.
